Product Introduction
Flexible Lifting Door
(Also known as flexible large door, stacked flexible lifting door, hangar flexible door)
Definition: A special industrial door for large openings. It consists of PVC flexible flame-retardant curtain fabric and transverse wind-resistant trusses, driven by steel wire ropes or industrial belts. When opening, the curtain folds upward in layers and stacks above the opening. It features no ground track and lightweight door body, designed for extra-wide and extra-high giant openings.
✅ 1. Core Structure
1. Curtain: Thickened flame-retardant PVC fabric; optional double-layer polyurethane thermal insulation curtain, waterproof, salt-spray resistant and UV-resistant; transparent observation windows can be installed.
2. Wind-resistant Trusses: Parallel quadrilateral keels made of galvanized steel pipes or aluminum alloys to withstand strong winds and prevent curtain bulging.
3. Bottom Beam: Heavy-duty steel truss with elastic sealing rubber strips at the bottom; optional anti-pinch safety airbag.
4. Guide Rails & Lifting System: Vertical guide rails on both sides, winch driven by steel wire ropes or industrial belts.
5. Safety System: Anti-fall lock for broken steel wire ropes, photoelectric protection, limit switches, sound and light alarm.
6. Control System: Variable-frequency motor; multiple operation modes including push button, remote control, ground magnet and radar induction.
✅ 2. Main Features
• Super Large Span: Single door unit can reach 6–60 m in width and 8–40 m in height. No intermediate columns required for the opening, allowing direct access for aircraft and large equipment.
• Lightweight Door Body: Much lighter than rigid steel doors, lowering load on building walls and reducing civil engineering costs.
• Strong Wind Resistance: Standard version withstands Beaufort scale 10–12 winds; customized reinforced version available for typhoon-prone areas.
• Thermal Insulation & Sealing: Rubber sealing strips around the perimeter to reduce heat/cold loss, dust-proof, moisture-proof and sound-insulated; suitable for insulated workshops.
• No Ground Track: No embedded ground rails, avoiding dust and water accumulation, unobstructed passage for large vehicles.
• Opening & Closing Speed: 6–15 m/min, variable-frequency soft start for stable operation; partial curtain replacement possible if damaged, simple maintenance.
• Adaptable to Harsh Environments: Resistant to humidity, dust and salt spray, suitable for heavy industry and port sandblasting workshops.
✅ 3. Application Scenarios
• Aircraft hangars, helicopter hangars
• Shipyards, docks, large port warehouses
• Sandblasting workshops, painting workshops, heavy industry foundry plants
• Waste treatment, mining, steel workshops and large logistics warehouses
✅ 4. Flexible Lifting Door vs. Conventional Rigid Industrial Sectional Door
• Rigid sectional door: For medium and small openings; huge self-weight for oversized openings, sharply increasing civil engineering costs; troublesome repair when door panels deform.
• Flexible lifting door: Designed for oversized openings; light weight with low load on building structure; flexible curtain not easily damaged by minor collisions. Disadvantage: Less impact-resistant than all-metal rigid doors.
✅ 5. Safety Configurations (Standard / Optional)
• Instant anti-fall locking device for broken steel wire ropes
• Bottom safety airbag and infrared photoelectric protection, stop or rebound when encountering obstacles
• Dual mechanical and electrical upper & bottom limit switches
• Sound and light warning lamp during operation
